So heres how this works, its simple: If you average 1:30, then look at the closest time selection to it.

1:30+
Use Tucker's Beginners Method,
to acheive an average of 1:00-1:19.
If you are still stuck, follow these tips:
Try to reduce Pauses.
Lube your cube.
Decrease Last layer times.
You can decrease Last Layer times by improving yor recognition for each case.
Est. Time: 3 Weeks

1:00-1:19
Once you acheive these times;
I strongly suggest you learn 4 look last layer.
Once you goto that link, DON'T learn F2l!! Just learn the last layer part of it.
This includes:
Edge Orientation(2)
Corner Orientation(1-7)
Edge Permutation(1-4)
Corner Permutation(1-3)
Est. Time: 3 weeks - 2 monthes

40-55
I suggest from here that you know learn F2l.
This WILL increase your times at first, but in a couple days it should decrease your times GREATLY!
Now, practice your F2l.
Est. Time: 2 weeks

30-40
I know suggest that you learn ALL THE PLLS!

Est. Time: 2-3 Months

20-30
Work on yor F2l,
Possibly use the algs.
You should end up at 12ish F2l.
ALSO:
MASTER(sub 3) all of your PLLs and OLLs that you know.
Est. Time: 3-4 months

Sub-20
Learn all 57 OLLs, AND PRACTICE!
Est. Time: Huh??

Very interesting, although some things are subjective (I learned full PLL when still getting 50-1:00 averages) still a very helpful guide  Grin

Nice, guess I should work on my F2L now that I'm around 50 average cause that's what's taking up most of my solving time.

My suggestion: wait till you average in the late 40's till you learn F2l.
Your going to wish you did, cause it gets harder to improve as you go faster.

Are you crazy?
Yea, go ahead and learn all 42 algs Smiley
Have a nice time!

Kidding, always learn intuitive first THEN: once you need to get faster learn the algs.

Thanks a lot for this Sloths.

Just a quick question: What's the reason for the difference in times between learning PLL and OLL?

PLL's are a lot more important that OLL's do 4lll then learn all plls and move on to 3 look

Well, if he does 2 step OLL then learns all of the PLL's, then it IS 3 look.

Well considering the fact that this thread was made so that other people wouldn't post how to get Faster" threads to much, isn't it important that this thread be seen immediately?

Though he should unsticky the BLD thread

I agree with Nasa.

Also, Zero, I know PLLs should be learned first, but I was curious why they should be learned so much earlier.

4LLL isn't so much a method as it is a set of algs, go  learn 2(or 4) PLL's (corner and edge rotation), your sune and anti sune, and your cross algs.  Those are what you need for 4LLL (I'll edit a link or two in about 10 minutes
